Default lt 80 wont start

Bought an lt80 for my son yesterday, was starting not to bad when we went to view it,took it home and it wont fire at all now

Have checked for spark and its sparking ok, plug is not getting wet with fuel?
removed drain screw from carb and plenty fuel getting to carb.
Checked reeds and they appear to be ok
Is there a chance it could be crankcase seals?
Anywhere i can download a repair manual?
Any advice much appreciated.
Thanks

Ive poured a small amount of fuel straight into the cylinder and she fired up

Now that the engine is hot it starts without priming the cylinder but only with choke and it wont idle

you should replace the spark plug, check compression, and go through the carb to make sure it is clean and everthing is working properly. make sure the choke is working and all ports are nice and clean. you might have fouled the plug by pouring too much fuel in. you need to be careful pouring fuel directly into the cylinder-you can hydro lock the engine and bent the rod. use either starting fluid or carb spray into the carb to help start.

Like mentioned, clean the carb.
Never use ether on a 2 stroke. WD-40

I'm guesing that would be it. The next thing would have been a compression test, but seeins you cut to the chase.... LOL
You can look on the top of the piston for the size.::
no number is a stock bore~~a .5 or 1.0 means that's how many mm's it's bored over.~~a bunch of pin ***** numbers in the middle would indicate a Wiseco piston (pay attention to the last 4 numbers).

Please use Suzuki parts.

Please don't buy these tiny, 2 storke suzukis. They give you a headache, more than serving a purpose.

Sorry this isn't very constructive, but my first introduction to biking was on a similar bike, and it was a waste of a thousand pounds. It's a shame really. A thousand pounds could of got an old honda. Still you live and learn.

Wow, I gotta say the lt80 has to be one of the best kids quads you can buy.

Durable and extremely buildable.

I'd take the Zuk over Honda any day.

In respect to this responce, a simple reason for the rambling on is that he got ahold of one of my LT80 motors. First crack of the throttle and the massive torque flung the machine over backwards and he hit his head...thus the headache..He's been caught mumbling something about "massive moore horespower" and "I love LT80's" over and over ever since..
I've not felt this bad since Ozzy wrecked on one of my motors........HAHAHAHAHAHA

Maybe he'll go over to the china junk section and share some joy.
LMAO!!
