Default Wildfire 49cc throttle adjustment.

the little guy gets his new ATV this coming Saturday for his Bday and I was just looking at it in the garage to see how to turn the throttle down. We dont need him going full bore through the yard yet so I was going to ask if anyone on here knew how to do it. I can take pics of the throttle assembly tonight but I dont see anywhere where it can be adjusted so he can only turn it say half throttle.

not sure about his model but there usually is a screw on the throttle body on the handle bars. but with that little machine it might have restrictors (that make it slow) on the intake or the exhaust somewhere.

Hey Negligence, I just bought a 49cc atv for my daughter, pretty nerve wrecking dont you think? Anyways mine came with a throttle screw, however it is still way to fast. I hooked a short light duty chain from the handle bar to the grip, and even with only a quarter inch of monement. It would still go way to fast when it got up to speed. I've been searching the net for three nights trying to find the answer and have nothing still. Let me know if you find something to slow down these 49ers... I'm sure many others need to find an answer for this problem as well.
