LT 80 spark problem
#1
I have a 2000 LT 80, It has been sitting for a few years. I tore it down to the bare frame, rebuilt the carburator, new piston and rings, new pro circut platnium exaust, new petcock, new air filter, cleaned every thing that would come apart. I got it all back together to find it has no spark at the spark plug. After checking all the wiring conections (I think).....I felt as if I may have been here before (maybe the reason it was parked in the first place). I have a coil on order.... should be in on Tuesday but I dont want to just buy all new electrical parts (very expensive). Is there anything I can test to find out what the problem may be?

Had same prob with my sons lt 80 the other day
If youve got a multi meter, connect to the black and red wire that comes from the stator (youl find it under the front nose cone)and the other to lead to ground, set the meter to ac volts, should rad 25 while cranking the engine(thats what mine reads any way.
If theres no reading or its very low, then its the stator coil(behind the flywheel)

LT 80.... Ground wire didn't help, Iron..... If I was testing correctly it only shows 2 volts. I will wait for the coil and change that, but it looks like I will need a stator.
Thanks for the help guys
