There are many kits for motors out there.
I'm not a fan of big bores cuz most all think that it will be a massive increase in power, which isn't true.
Carb/pipe/porting and you'll be much happier IMO.

We just put a bigger bore on our viper..The viper only has a 50mm bore stock while most of the 90s tend to be 52mm..We bought the piston and cylinder as a kit to replace our original top end which had a lot of hours on it....It gave us a noticeable little boost but the new cylinder has much bigger ports than the old stocker and I think that is what gave us the power increase..The only "problem" with our kit (53mm) is that I believe it is meant to work with the longer stroke of an aftermarket crankshaft..Our piston is down in the bore a little with the stock crank so cranking compression is actually about the same or down a little from our stock cylinder..

"Our piston is down in the bore a little with the stock crank"
Your correct...the piston is down .032. It has nothing to do with the stroke as you put spacers under the cylinder for a stroked crank.
"cranking compression is actually about the same or down a little from our stock cylinder.."
This is why heads are made to the cylinder. Corrected comp ratio.

If your considering anything. At least let experts help.
WRH Racing
Hetrick Racing
I can help also.

I see a 100 kit::389
carb 165
racing reed cage 89
cable 18
jet kit 40
air filter 20
clutchs 145
roller kit 35
I see no option for a race head. I'll guess at 90.. about a grand
Mind you, you will see a power increase but if it's what your looking for is another issue.
My way (using their prices)
carb 130
pipe 230
reed cage 89
clutchs 145
roller kit 35
head 90
cylinder porting 250.. about a grand but your rocketing out of the hole and hitting 45 mph.
1 will get you going, 1 will be worth the money.

thanx for the responce. A grand is a little more than I wanted to spend. the 100 max was the kit I was talking about it came with a head not sure about the porting or anything on it.. was wondering if this kit was worth it and looked like a good starter will mostly be trail ridin but there is big hills thanx again
