unless you mean moving the pickup coil......... then if you can even measure it i usually set it at about the thickness of a matchbook

I had to think about this one also.
Why would you move the pickup coil tho?

I bought a high rev cdi box and stator from rm stator it wouldn't work sent it back and they sent a new one samething popped and cracked so I called them they told me I had to wholler the bolt holes on the pickup coil and adjust it closier to the magneto then put grease on the pickup coil spin over by hand to see the results see how much grease was left on the coil and adjust and repeat if neccesery to get the the hottest fire I'm guessing but it seemed a little redundit to me I used my stock cdi the high rev one came with the after market stator but this was on my warrior

"IF" this product was made for your specific machine, IMO, this sure seems micky mouse for a company to recommend anything like this.
I'd darn near bet that others ppl products do not need this mickytized adjustment.
Now if the product was made for another machine and adapting it to your machine, then I could see all the fuss.

yes it was for my warrior, thats what I thought also I thought RM stator was a name brade company I think I saw them advertise in so fourwheeler mags don't quote me on that one though I have a stroker crank no sure how true it is.. I figured if it was a little off at a high rpm if it was to close might hurt pick up coil
