the only time i notice it is when you shut it down. It dont do it every time, just most of the time. I turned the idle down to let it lug down & i cant tell if its doing it then or not. Im not real sure what you mean by "It sounds like the reeds values !"

Does atv start good? if hard to start your reeds have trash r screw coming out of them. the reed cage is behind carb.mount. BUT if start good then I would say thats normal when shut off because compression of engine is opening and closing reeds and you are hearing the values coming to an stop.IMO.

the first start of the day requires the use of the choke & starts in no more than 2 seconds. after its warmed up & you start it it only takes a tap of the starter to get it started. it starts & runs great other than only getting 21mph top speed.

That sounds like the clutch bell of a centrifugal clutch ringing from torsionals as the crankshaft is jerking to a stop.
Either that or the sprague clutch (one-way bearing) for the starter motor.
