Question Ignition / Kill switch strange colors on a Rocketa

Hi, I'm new here. I've got a Rocketa RTU110 that someone took the keyswitch apart on. I found the normal red-black and blackwhite green scenario here. Then I looked at mine and was like huh? I have a red reading +12v, another red reading 0v and no ground, and a black and grey both going to ground. Any recommendations on how to pair them up? Thanks !

On your new ignition switch there are four wires. Turn the ignition switch off and use your meter to find which two wires are shorted together. Label those two wires 1 and 2 (it doesn't matter which of these is labeled 1 and which is 2).

Turn the ignition switch on. Verify that the other two wires are shorted together, and that they are open (disconnected) when when the switch is turned off. Label these wires A and B (once again it doesn't matter which is which).

On your quad do the following:

1) Turn off all the kill switches:
...a) Turn the handle bar kill switch to the "run" position
...b) Make the the lanyard pull cord plug is plugged in (if equipped)
...c) Unplug the remote control module (if equipped)
2) Turn off all lights (headlights / parking lights)
3) Release the parking brake to make sure the brake light cant turn on.

On your wiring harness ignition connector:

1) Find the wire that is +12 volts all the time. Connect this to ignition switch pin A.
2) Find the wire that is grounded all the time. Connect this to ignition switch Pin 1.
3) Find the wire that is only connected to ground when you turn on a kill switch (handle bar, or pull off the lanyard cord). Wire this to ignition switch pin 2.
4) If everything is according to theory the last wire goes to ignition switch pin B. You should find that this wire ties to ground (through some low resistance) when the lights are turned on (headlights, brakelight etc).

Default Wow!!!

I'm glad someone knows what they are talking about because I sure don't lol! But that makes sense to me. A and B are the "on" pair and 1 and 2 are the "kill" pair. I will try it first thing in the AM and let you know what happens. Thanks!
