Default verry strange lt80 problem

I have an 80s lt 80, had it since I was a kid. The thing always ran great.... untill my brothers kids got ahold of it! What I was told is that they were driving it, it started to bog dow and die. I looked at it and i noticed that when craniking it with the brake off the thing would roll forward. The only way to start it is to have someone push it and hold the started button at the same time. Feels like the clutch could be stuck? If you push it you can hear the engine turning over. Also it will bog down going up hills when it is running. If you give it gass with the brake on you can hear the drive belt squeel. ........ Just looking for some advice before i start ripping apart the wrong thing.... Any help would be greatley appricated.

I'd start in the clutchs since your not supposed to be able to turn the motor over by pushing it.

The entire cover, not the little one.
Remove all 4 footpeg bolts and push them forward. They are a bugger.

update..... Duh I forgot the brake was on so the rear is fine.... I had dull spark, stuck my finger in the carb and she started up. Then died right away... I have alternating 12 volt hot and ground on the one side of the coil and straight ground on the other side but no spark or shock now... I think its a bad coil just want to confirm

I'd do a compression test before I bought anything.
