ETON 70 Hot Start Problem
My sons ETON 70 2 stoke will not turn over freely after riding for a while with the electric start. It is not the battery. I used a charger to jump directly to the starter and it was still slow.
When I try it with the kick stater the motor is very tight, almost like it is trying to seize. the compression is good at 110 PSI.
Any ideas? It runs fine If I get it running, and it will start easily after cooling completely down.

Well, it ended up being the clutch. Started hearing a rattle in that area Saturday and tore it down.
Not the part with the rollers but the part behind that that is turned by the starter motor.
A screw had backed out it it and it was pretty much done. Ordered a new one and should be good to go.
The part that failed is #5 on this link...
