Hey, my kfx 90 it sat for about a year and I tried to start it sat there and sounds like it's not getting gas and just about to turn over... I put gas in the spark plug and it ran for about 10 seconds?? Anyone know what's wrong or how to take off the plastics because it has the snap on plastics and would at least try to look at the motor and try to find the problem? Thanks!

 

pull the carb apart and clean it. the jets are plugged. you have a fuel delivery issue.

now your carb may not be identical to the one in the videos, but the principle is the same. DO NOT USE A DRILL LIKE THE VIDEO SHOWS ON THE SCREWS.

as you can tell when you pull up the videos, there are many videos to choose from. these two will help you out quite a bit. but pick the ones you want to use. they're all about the same. some give more details than others. holler back at us!

i've never messed with that particular style. are they the squeeze/remove molly style rivets or the push through shirt button style? hmm....i just don't know. most of the time, most plastics are held on with a few bolts/nuts and some style of plastic molly/rivet style fasteners. that's all i know. sorry.

 

Just recently purchased a 07 kfx 90 and a couple of wires are just hanging cut loose as well as a wire that come from the starter red with white stripe and a solid red I'm assuming that's 12v from the battery. I was wondering if anybody has a schematic of the wire harness for this model atv. Or know where I can find one. Or somebody who has one like it that can guide me through my struggle. Thanks in advance.
