I just picked up a what I think is all stock 2002 ds 50. I have owned several cars bikes boats etc etc and all have be modified etc so I am not new to that. My son is still a little small and I would like to start out with a few basic mods first. I have read about the cdi and gear changes as well as the restrictors and clutch limit band. Are these the best first basic mods to do before you start going inside the engine or pipes jets etc? I would like to get a cdi that requires no cutting etc,I know someone mentioned the ds90 box is this the best route or is there a aftermarket one that plugs right in to the factory harness and if so who has it? I thik i also saw someplace about the gear changes can anyone voice there opinion on what gears to run etc?
