lt 80 carb oring?

do you need the o ring for the main jet, i got a carb rebuild kit and the oring seems a little bit to big. just wanted to know if it is needed

No. I have rebuilt five lt 80 carbs in the past month take it out and put nothing in there. They are a pain to get out when old.
