LT80 tuning issues
I have several lt80's all are stock. I decided to slightly modify the oldest one a 01.
Mods are uni filter, reed pedal, 32 to 1 premix (amsoil oil) and a dg pipe.
Stock jetting. I have gone over the carb and cleaned it. Needle clip on the second to last position since it seemed to be running lean.
Quad is breaking up under acceleration. Seems down on power compared to my stock 04,05,06. Compression is 120 + on the 01. I had all the mods on except the pipe and it ran pretty strong after the pipe it seems the power went down and the breaking up got worse.
Also bike fires right up with no issues and never needs to be choked is that odd that it never needs the choke because all my other bikes like it when there cold.
I am going to go over the wiring tomorrow and check to see if something is cut this 01 was a basket case when I got it
Thanks for the help guys

I think that I'd remove a carb from another LT and try it.
If nothing changes, maybe try swapping the CDI and/or coil.
Maybe try the stock pipe again...?
At least you have running machines to try parts from.
I'm curious, I hear of most Amsoils being used at 50:1 to 100:1
I'm wondering if the 32:1 mix could be causing a fuel/mix problem. What's the bottle say?
