Default help with alpha sport LG 90

I have a 2001 alpha sport LG 90 will only run with hand over carb did a compression test and it was 60 psi i am sure it should be higher so i have a few questions.

I am looking at buying a top end kit

1 what should the compression be on a 90 cc 2 stroke?
2 from what i have been told the alpha sport is the same as a polaris scrambler and parts should work on my alpha sport.
3 dose anyone know where to get a service / repair manual for it ?

thanks for any help i can get

Welcome to the forums.
I think that you will find that most any scooter motor parts will work. ie: polaris/kasea/eton/apex/drr/etc.
One call to hetrick racing and you can have what you need on the way.

well i pulled the piston out the rings looked good , the piston had carbon build up on the top and the jug had a dark spot about 1/2 in wide and a 1in long. there was alot of oil around the exhust gasket and pipe where it bolts to the jug . so i dont think the compression loss was from the rings.

dose anyone have any sugestions on what i should do or what to do next

thanks

You need to check the clearance between the piston and cylinder wall.
I bet it's .008 or looser.
It should be .0025.
A blown head gasket would be obvious.
Any other reason a running machine would have a severe comp loss?
