Lt80 massive problems

Default Lt80 massive problems

Ok clutch mod 2 rollers removed put back together no top end speed sounds like droning noise wen slowing down

Removing 2 rollers does effect top speed. Try 5 or 6 rollers.

The rear shoes can make a lil clicking noise when modded.

Rule of thunb:: if you don't think it's right, take it apart again and re-assemble.

When revved it stops just tickover

The variator with rollers in seems loose on spindle could of I missed a washer out any pics of the assy

The notch on the movable drive face plate must fit the key on the crank shaft. If you missaligned the key and tightened the back of the drive plate to the front of the key it will probably be loose now with the back of the drive plate chewed up ... Where the rollers in the correct position?

That fiche don't show the big washer that goes between #8 and #10 (89 and newer)
