I previously posted about wiring my new ignition switch wrong and messing up the electrical system resulting in no spark.... Well I replaced the stock CDI with one of those blue race ones from eBay and it fired right up. The problem is it won't turn off with the key or kill switch. I did not have this issue prior to replacing the CDI.

 

If you look back Lynn Edwards replied that the etons use a different operating funtion for the electronics. Digital or analog, something like that. Maybe your answer will lie in knowing that.
