The jets are new, I'm planning on checking the spark arrester in the morning, and I'm not sure about the mixed fuel.. Wouldn't suprise me if someone put some in there, but it has straight gas in it now.. I'll drain it and put fresh fuel in morning too.

Ok, bogging down when applying throttle is indicative of too much air to fuel ratio. So, either it has vacuum air leaks or a fuel delivery issue or maybe the exhaust pipe could affect the performance.

If gas is fresh, no need to waste it when you know it is good

There are no vaccume lines on the carb, unless the small nipple on the bottom is a vaccum and not a drain like I think.. Could vaccum lines on the block affect the fuel/air ratio?

If by chance you pull the carb off again, pull the jets out & make sure there's no debris or obstructions in the orifices or down the center of the jets. You gotta see daylight through them

It acts like its getting too much fuel.. At one point, the intake leading from airbox to carb was flooded.. but my cleaning the carb again seems to have fixed it..

I was talking about vacuum lake on the intake boot between the carb & he jug/cylinder/piston, like some rubber boots have a flange & an O-ring there at the carb on the cylinder side
