and I saw light thru them.. (I do alot of carb cleaning as I repair and recondition mowers and atv's for a living)

umm, well I will pull the intake vacuum lines off tomorrow and inspect them.. when I pulled the carb off today, I just visually inspected the hookups, not the lines themselves

More than likely you're correct on your drain. Some don't have vacuum lines. I was just asking as I haven't seen this lil quad, just a bigger eton is all I got

theres a flange on the cylinder/carb boot.I'll see if it has an o-ring. I think there are at least a couple lines on the boots, so I'll see if any lines are cracked

yea, I'm pretty sure the float was stuck..

Before I cleaned the carb, it wouldnt start.. Now it'll run, just bogs down and fouls the plug really quick..

well that's good to know, I tinker on atvs also. My lawn tractor's carb is killin me now as I keep ripping the baby gasket off of the bowl on that dang B&S engine when I try to reinstall it. I'm at my wits end on it. I wished it was like my quads

When it does let me rev it up, it bogs down as soon as I let off the throttle

black electrode? So it's real rich? Is it an NGK plug?
