I am going to shave the head on my ltz50. Anybody know how much you can take off before the valves start hitting the piston? Have read the huge thread about moding these things and the most anyone took off was .020" but they said that wished they had done more. I am planning on taking off .035" but I am worried about wreaking the valves.

 

With all do respect, what do you expect to achieve? A 50cc 4 stroke isn't going to wake up much if any.
To answer, I haven't noticed anyone do anything in here with a Z50.
