Im rebuilding my kids 2000 lt80. I just put on the stator and stator cover. You need to tourque the bolt on the cover to 31 lbs. how do you hold the stator cover to tourque the bolt. Is there a special tool to use? What else can i use to hold the stator cover so i can tighten the bolt. Need answers fast

 

I use a battery impact wrench to whack that nut on.
If you don't have a impact, hold the ->flywheel<- with your hand and tighten as much as possible. I've never tightened it to any specific torque.
