2004 eton viper jr no spark

I recently bought an 04 viper jr with no spark. Does anyone have any info on the test procedures for the stator and coil. Also to bypass the remote kill switch do I just unplug it or do I hook the wires back together.

http://www.mediafire.com/view/tugcyr...anual_2006.pdf is a manual for a Polaris 90 2 stroke, they are made but Eton. Not sure what size the JR is or is it 4 stroke?
