I am working on the grand kids 90 and it started doing this. The quad started dying when you would turn the bars to the right.I found a wire that was not plugged in all the way. I got that fixed and i am feeling good. now I go to start it and the starter will not turn over.I pull in the horn switch no horn but when I hold in the horn switch the starter turns over is this a grounding problem?

 

Gremlins.. Yes sound like a short,plus start at the ignition switch wiring(pull the plastic cover over the rear of the switch housing) and check for any wire that may have the solder broken possibly touching other wires. Trace the wiring harness as it goes up. This is where a lot of shorts can happen from the stress on the harness. i found the problem I moved the engine air intake hose and it bumped and removed the white wire that is connected to the coil.the coil that goes to the spark plug. I checked every thing and then I saw the wire was off would not of thought it would of had that affect on the system. old tech Thanks for your help on this form. I am posting this it could help some one that is having the same problem that I was having Dale.
