Eton 90 Dxl starting issue

If it has decent compression(100 psi or so) and spark, just order a new carb for 20 bucks,5 bucks for expedited shipping and you can have it in a couple days. This will replace the Frankenstein carb that you made out of two carbs and can be done before Christmas.Carburetor E Ton Eton 2 Stroke RXL90 RXL 90cc ATV Carb Hand Choke H CA59 | eBay

Electric choke carbs have never worked decent whether on Polaris, Eton or what ever.. We had a bulletin from Polaris to just block off the air duct tube with your thumb when cold to make starting easier. Even on a new one you may have to do that if the temperature really drops. These little machines don't have the suction that 4 strokes have and this procedure just helps them on drawing fuel quicker into the engine.Once warmed up they recrank easy.

Shew me too. I must have just messed different things up on each precious carb. Or electric choke could have been messing up. Anyway. Thanks for the help. Hopefully you don't have to hear from me for awhile! But now I can give some advice for people in the same boat.
