I've been measuring.
Please measure from the top of the cylinder to the bottom of the cylinder.
So far it looks like the exhaust port isn't raised much but I want to make sure before I advise.

Hi

From the top to the buttom with the transfer ports it's measuring 62.32 mm.

From the top to the button of the hole cylinder it's measuring 93.48 mm.

Best regards

Kell

I can make one for you if you'd like.
I'll measure my cylinder to compare the exhaust port height so I have an idea on what to do to the head.
Email me about the head.
Hello. I've read everything you've posted. I feel like I know you already lol

I've been rebuilding a lt80 for the passed year. I bought one with Reed cage mod and 2 rollers out and it looks like the head is shaved when I compare it to the stock parts rig I picked up. I have a couple cylinders I can try porting but I'm curious if you are still modding lt80's? I already built the motor with new crank and everything so if you still have a head and ported cylinder, I could send you my new one's as a core if that would work. I'm also interested in rear clutch springs and gearing for sand trails with a bit of soft muskeg from time to time. Nothing too wet lol. I have the 22/10 gearing right now with dwt 18x7-8 rcr.v2 rear tires that measure to 16" or so it looks like.

I'd really like to chat with you if you're still around so please let me know. My email is muddy4runner@hotmail.com. hope to hear from you soon. Cheers
