AWESOME!! We were talking about doing something like that on the lower shock mount. Might do at a little to both of them. I really appreciate it!! Does it "pivot" any there that you have noticed?

It does move if you tug on it...but it stays in place when riding...IMHO there is no travel benefit for it to pivot, but if you got fancy with bushings it would pivot freely.


You mention upper & lower braces...just be mindful of the change in shock angle and it's impact on mechanical advantage...probably minor but just something to consider...

I was thinking that if I do it to top and bottom the shock geometry would be fairly close to stock. I'm not looking for movement there, was actually worried about movement

To be honest those shocks should come with plates as they are clearly not bolt-on...


I'm sure you'll come up with something slick!!!
