I’ve found this. Haven’t tried it yet because my kid just got the quad. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Kawasaki-KF...-/222454269963

I bought that cdi box and it will work but you have to change the plug sequence from your factory one to this one, I just did the plug and play until it worked

Awesome, good to know it worked. Do you happen to have a picture of the way the plugs are wired now or a description of what wires you had to move where?

No rush, I totally understand and greatly appreciate it, I went ahead and ordered the cdi. I’m just getting my daughter going on the quad, she’s got quite a while before she’ll be ready for the upgrades but daddy will have them all on the shelf waiting haha.

An easy speed upgrade is removing the speed collars if you haven’t already, there are YouTube videos on that, I also ordered an exhaust from pro circuit

I plan on removing the collar and intake exhaust plates. Lightening clutch weights, cdi box, 17t / 28t sprockets and I’m trying to line up a pb18 manual choke carburetor but want a oem Keihin. So far it’s looking like the klx 110 carb will do it if it measures up properly. Shows to be a pb18 cable choke. Hoping I can get the carb and choke cable and mount the choke somewhere easy to reach for kid. I’ll definitely be doing a complete thread on it with parts sources when I get it all together.

Hey guys any updates? Trying to get a little more speed for my daughter. I took the collar out, trying to find a good cdi box. Are some better than others, or are pretty much all the ones on eBay the same as long as they’re DC? Any help is greatly appreciated. Not sure I can stand to see her pull another holeshot and lead two laps just to get run down. First thing out of her mouth was “dad my four wheeler ain’t fast enough” 🤦🏻Spam word ♂️
