Yeah I did so when taking apart the clutch there are roller bearings that work on centrifugal force and they were packed with factory grease that had hardened and stuck so hard it would only let the roller bearings move about half as far as they should have. So after taking apart the primary clutch and removing the roller bearings and factory grease and cleaning it all and adding a light coat of new grease the thing just rips. LT80 is who told me about that when I was having the issue and he was completely correct.

Thanks for that pal unfortunately though the quad has a brand new front and rear clutch from suzuki freshly built motor iridium plug new battery its basically freshly restored apart from the stator new boyesen reeds fmf pipe k and n filter and so on so I know the front variator isn't the issue hence why I am q little puzzled I do thankyou for youre reply though its very much appreciated hopefully lt80 will have another option i can try

Hi just encase this helps Any body in the future this was all carb related and after changing the carb to another one kindly given to me by someone local it has fixed my issue I think the old one is just worn as even with a full rebuild on the old carb it still wouldn't solve the problem
