my sons Eton 50 cuts out and dies while driving it.Its starts up and and runs fine but when he has the throttle pushed and driving along it just cuts out. after a few seconds it goes again. i took the carb apart and cleaned it but still does the same thing. Any ideas

 

The fist possibility is the tank breather blocked. A sucking sound if you slacken the cap when the fault is on, shows this is the problem. Other possibilities are faulty electrical components such as coil CDI or stator.
