E-ton Viper 50
treeguy,
I dont know about the viper 50, but I do have an E-ton Rascal 40. Its been a good little quad so far, always starts and runs well. Its quite powerful for a 40cc quad, I have the throttle set at just above half. I think my kids will out grow it before it ever wears out. As for the price of the E-tons, I think they're a great value.

E-ton Viper 50
Got a new 03' Eton 50 Viper for my 5 yr. old son for Christmas. VERY PLEASED with it so far. I weigh 235 and it has no problem haulin me around. My son weighs about 47lbs. and it will do about 13mph. at 3/4 throttle. Starts right up and idles extremely smooth. have run a 1 1/2 tanks of fuel thru it so far with no problems. It's reserve will run about 15 min. Has hydraulic rear brakes which work excellant!!!! (They lock up with me on it) Fronts are drum and are adequet (sp)
The motor is very peppy with plenty of power for any type of terrain.
Here's some pics Viper 50

My son had a 2000 E-Ton AXL 50 Lightning which is basicly the same thing. The biggest improvement with the Viper is the fact it now has hydraulic rear brakes. That little machine was bulletproof. The only reason that I got rid of it was because I bought him another quad, which is also an E-Ton. It has been a great little machine so far too.
