I just picked up this machine, I’ve attached some pics but electric start is not working. Also the previous owner had a bungie cord on the kick start because he said it didn’t retract as far as it should. Claimed a $2 spring clip was the answer. The electric start issue seems obvious.....I’m hoping. Just not clear what parts to order. Any insight? Excited to be a part of this forum. Thanks in advance for any assistance.

 

That is a brake light switch and usually also acts as a lock-out so you can't start the bike without the brake on. Can-Am dealers will have the switch and the kick start spring, or you will find plenty on-line.
