Question Kawasaki KFX 50 - Throttle stuck on slow

The throttle on my kids 2020 KFX 50 is stuck on slow. Week prior had opened the governor up so she could go faster and worked fine for a couple days. Now you can only press throttle partially in before it stops. Any ideas what's wrong?

Thanks in advance for the help.

Afraid I don't know anything about new Kawasakis, but few ATVs have governors, as such. Many newer kids quads have rev limiters on the CDI, but most older ones have a stop on the handlebar throttle lever. Screw in and it stops the throttle being opened much, screw out and the lever can move further. If this is what you have been adjusting, you have screwed in rather than out, or left the locknut loose and it has adjusted itself in.

That was the problem. The locknut was loose and the limiter had worked its way in. Appreciate the help. Thank you!
