Looking to replace the motor in our eton. Its a 90cc 2-stroke. looking for a motor that will bolt in. Doesn't have to be a 90. Does any one know what will fit and where I can find one? I appreciate the help

 

I'm fairly sure the 2 stroke Viper used the Minarelli scooter engine, so the same as Polaris early 90s and Apache 100s amongst a host of others. Could be wrong, but think they were/are available in two lengths depending on how long the belts are. They will be available new from Chinese parts suppliers, but may not have the same stator, some have DC ignition, I think Eton would be using AC CDI ignition. As all parts to rebuild one are freely available, I would have thought it much cheaper to rebuild the engine you have.

 

You are probably right. I have been chasing an air leak. The motor was pretty abused when we got it. Not really sure how the rest of the internals are. Tired of messing with it. Just checking our options.
