Default E-Ton impuls 90 questions

Im looking for a small atv for my son. Found a eton impuls 90cc 2 stroke for cheap. Trying to see if they are decent. Parts seem to be somewhat easy to find. Im not new to working in the garage either. Just dont want junk. Any info would be awesome

Not sure if eTon used the Minarelli engine in the 90. This is a very good engine. I was repairing a Chinese no name with this engine yesterday and, once I got the water out of tank and carb, it pulled my 225lbs about at considerable speed. Polaris used it and I think Apache still do. ETon had a reputation for quality too. Their electrics were a bit odd, many of them had earth to run CDIs which confuses people when doing fault diagnosis.

I believe the engine is the same as polaris. The rebuild kits are for both at least. Never heard of that cdi type. Thanks for the info. Sounds like decent little machine
