Default Viper jr

I just trash picked a e-ton viper jr 40cc. I drained the gear oil from the transmission and there is a ton of metal flake. Has anyone ever put an aftermarket torque converter on one of these?

Alpha Sports still sell parts for ETons. Your best bet is to take the gearbox apart and see what it needs. Bearings will be standard, so can be sourced locally but shafts and gears will probably have to come from Alpha. They may be available from other suppliers as it is probably a scooter or motorcycle engine, used by other Taiwaneese makers but, unless you know which, you are not going to find a transmission that fits onto the engine.

Ultimately that’s what I’m going to end up doing. I dove a little deeper into it last night and the only thing that looks questionable is the final drive bearing
