Default Kazuma brand 4 wheeler?

I am looking at a new brand of 4 wheeler to buy for my son. Has anyone heard of the brand Kazuma. They are on ebay. I think they come in 50, 90, 100 cc. Your response would be greatly appreciated.

Don't buy one of those. My brother-in-law bought 2 of them and they are junk. There are currently no parts suppliers for the Kuzuma kids quads in the states. You have to order all of the parts from China. The intake manifold tore after 4 hours, starter quit working, plastic broke in 3 places. And all of this was while riding around the yard for 4 hours.

I would agree. Hte plastic and body parts are inpossible to match up. The rest of the parts you can find, but I would stay away.

Default Kazuma brand 4 wheeler?

Currently looking at the Kazuma 100cc 4 stoke auto but not sure how it compares to the Manco 90 cc.

I heard the Kazuma is a Honda clone to the XR 80 and a pretty reliable machine. Can anybody give me some good insight on how the Kazuma rates to the Manco.

Thanks,

I too heard that Kazuma used Honda engines, that was the only reason I was looking at these wheelers for my son (the 50cc one.)

Electric start, remote kill switch, speed regulator, light, full floor boards, and a Honda engine sound good to me but falling apart after less then a day of riding around is no good. What model did your brother-in-law get?

Anyone else have any input on these wheelers, more info on the 50cc model would be great.

I purchased a Kazuma 50cc for my daughter. It is a great beginner quad, lots of power. I have had it for almost a year and have not had any problems. We ride all the time.

Default Kazuma brand 4 wheeler?

FWIW, I got my 8yr old son a Kazuma 110r (3 fwd gears and 1 reverse) for Christmas. Paid $1100 delivered, and I have been extremely pleased with it.

It has

- honda cr90 clone engine
- suzuki lt80 clone body
- electric start
- manual choke (rarely needed)
- headlight
- horn (obnoxious whine)
- throttle limiter

For $1100, it has been awesome. We ride about 3-4 times per week and my only issue(s) is a) the wheel width could be wider for stability (but i made a 2 1/2" spacer for each wheel to solve that) and b) the foot cradles need a little more reinforcment. Engine and transmission have been very sound.

Yes...the plastic has cracked, but only because he hit something with it. Look at this way, you can buy 2 kazumas for 1 honda.

Stay away from these!!! They are JUNK!!!!

We bought one for my son in June and it was falling apart by october

Gas can liner came apart
seat started to delaminate
brakes are made of particle board so when they got wet the brake pad material turned to sludge
Will not start in the cold
neutral is impossible to find
plastics crack if you breath on them
you have to take half the bike apart to check the air filter
parts are impossible to get
UNDERPOWERED!!! it would not climb an ant hill

Please take this info to heart

Chris
