Sorry so late on the reply, I rarely come in this forum. My daughter has an 02' sportsman 90 and it has the tailpipe restricter (looks like a 2 litre screw on cap with a pin hole on the top) and the throttle restricter (just the screw and nut on the back side of the thumb throttle). Take it off and back it off respectively and the bike comes alive. It's got enough power to pull me around in the sand and i weigh 230! If it's top end your looking for you should pipe it and gear it.

you will never get 50 with just the sprockets and cdi. listen to wrh and tommy. they have both helped me with my sons e-ton and it is probably pushing 50 now. it has new reeds. wrh pipe, clutch spring and variator mods, 18 front and 25 rear sprocket, rejetted carb, 19 inch mx holeshots on the front on douglas rims, 16.5 rear holeshots. to ge 50 mph you will have to spend at least $500 to $600. if anyone can get you there it is tommy or wrh.

Just ordered one to compare it with our race pipes. I'll let ya'll know how they compare. I am hoping to get a good replacement pipe for your stock customers without having to lose a sell because the race pipes are out of their budget. I'll let ya'll know soon.
