What about the suspension? These quads are so stiff hitting those kind of mph #'s is DANGEROUS! Get the suspension upgraded, that alone will make you a faster rider. I wish I could find good shocks for my son's Xtreme Machine X90. That rear shock is useless it's so stiff.

 

Whatever you do, DON'T take a drill to your carbs. As far as the airbox holes. You can drill holes in the airbox lid and then cover it with duct tape when you are going to be near water. I don't recommend doing this unless you are not going to be near water.
