MAPPING

Default MAPPING

Would some one please explain what MAPPING is, and should I do it to my Cdale, and does it cost alot?, one last ?, where would I go to have it done? Thanks

Default MAPPING

"mapping" refers to your fuel injection peramiters. It is a "map" that takes into consideration input from your engine and its surroundings thrugh sensors. To simplify It is a program that controls the flow of fuel and timing of your motor. It doesn't need to be done to your dale if it runs. You can change to different maps depending on which model you own cannibal, speed, blaze or moto and what mods you have or what type of riding you do.

I have only raced once, but i took 1st place, it was also small time stuff at Bodatious, you can check it out at Bodatious.com, it mostly a Mudbug, but they race differant classes of atv's. Anyways should I get mine mapped to go faster, let me know what yall think, thanks.

the dales run a similiar EFI system to a car such as an O2 sensor and what not?

that is awesome. id like to see some turbo dale's running around with some sophisticated tuning such as EFI. i cant wait to see EFI become more of a normality on stock quads in the future.
