If anyone wants to get thier cam cover powder coated or any thing like a arms or grab bars I will be sending in a whole bunch of stuff to get a great price on silver with clear coat .I will be doing it in a week or 2 so let me know if you want to get your parts in the batch. I have an extra cam cover and engine cover getting done in silver . If you check my page their should be some pics soon of past projects . I also have a extra set of stock a arms, rear axle, and straightened steering stem in silver /clear done already. They match the aluminum frame so nice. If you want other colors let me know because the sky is the limit for this shop. Any quad parts in steel or aluminum can be done. Turn around for black is very quick but other colors may take a few weeks. Prices vary between $5 to $25 depending on size . PM me with your email address and I can get some high resolution pics to you. The silver vein is incredible too.

I have seen some people paying as much as $200 to $300 for just a frame which is crazy. I get really good deals because I send in a large quantity at one time that way the set up charge is spread between more parts. If they are running a lot of a certain color I need then there is no set up charge and they throw it in with the big batch. The last frame I did cost $75 including suspension, footpegs, steering stem, and about 15 other pieces because they just happened to be running a red that is an exact match for honda red. I also have all my parts prepped and ready to go .

I do this about 2 or three times a year. Ya see I part out quads once in a while and sell them on ebay .When parts have a fresh durable finish on them I get much more for them. It just so happenens a guy I do work for wants to restore the wheels on his mercedes benz and the silver with clear goes great with the dales alloy frame so Im getting my stuff done along with his wheels. I will have some extra oil filter covers,a arms, axles and engine covers ready for exchange if you guys want some. Ill see if I can find some more pics of past projects to tantalize you with.

Sounds great! I might be interested in a nice red axle at some point. Any idea if they could red PC over the chrome finish on a DuraBlue? I gots on of those. A red stock width would be cool too. My A-arms are already red... as well as one of the engine covers ... if I ever have the money and can't find anything else for performance (ever? hehe) the entire frames look great (thinking Haydugs). That silver-vein finish would sure be unique on a frame. So far I've only seen 2 PC ones and both were red. But as of now I'm all talk no action. Quad is 1200 miles from me and money for the next few checks is already spent. By the time spring rolls around though ... I should be getting everything in line and maybe over the summer I'll want a few things done. Sounds like you send a batch every now and then so that would be cool. Thanks - Zack

There is still plenty of time to get a great deal . So far I the price per part down to $12.00 .If we can get 20 or more items we will be below $10 per part in the silver clear coat batch. There are a couple of weeks yet before I send this stuff in so keep them coming . My goal is $5 per part. PM me for the address to send your parts to. On the chrome plated axle it will have to be scuffed or sanded for good bonding but thats no problem.

If my Arens chromoly stem ever gets to Ohio I'll probly have them forward it to you. What do you personally think about the Durablue ... look better chrome or red? Or is this batch silver only? I'd want them red ...

I have another company that runs red on a line system fairly often so that should a fairly quick turnaround(1 to 3 weeks) and only about 20 bucks. About durablue I can only tell my experience. I bought an eliminator after prezteling my stock 300ex axle on a jump. I trail rode it only from them on and the chrome peeled off after one year and 5 years later it had 3 very small bends in it . not enough that it could be detected riding but after carefull watching it roll with the quad on stands you could see indeed it had about about .050" wobble to it. Dura blue gladly straightened it but I dont know why it ever got bent in the first place from just normal fast trail riding. Now my stock dale axle is amazing . I have had wheel spacers on it and have been hitting jumps I would have never dreamed of years ago on mx tracks and pounded the crap out of it at st anthonies dunes and after one year with spacers its still dead straight. I have had a spare stock one from the begining done in silver and have been waiting and waiting to install it and now in the break before the snow trail open it will be done. I asked if anyone has ever broke or bent a stock axle with wheel spacer on a dale and got no replies but in my opinion I would not suggest a durablue if you are going to do serious mx .
