'02 Cannibal for $2999.00

Hey there,
I know of an '02 Cannibal for $2999.00. Ad says only 2 weeks use, and it's from a dealer. They also say parts and service are now available through ATK. I used to read these forums alot(aka ltracerx a few years back) and remember some stuff about the Dales. I know they're not for someone who doesn't know how to work on quads, but I am fairly inclined and most importantly I Enjoy wrenching on things, so that is not an issue. The problem is I make only approx. $1100 in a month and don't want to spend all my money on one toy.(I'm young and no bills, so I gotta spend it on something that keeps me off the street racing scene)

A friend of mine has a cannibal with low mileage that he took away from his son. You might be able to steal it for under $2000 . It has all the updates including a suzuki bearing equipt crank. It will need axle spacers and a taller front sprocket because it is uncontrollable through the first couple gears.

Hmmm..... That sound like a good deal, but I'm leary about buying quads that I can't inspect first, plus shipping would kill me! Oh, and that other 'Dale is gone

Oregon. I'm trying to get my only local dealer that sold the bikes to sell me a new one for $4000 but they say $5000 or nothing, even though they're just sitting there taking up space. I have been thinking that maybe I should wait for a Dale though, see how all these so called buy-outs(or whatever you wanna call it) work out with ATK and Dinli. BTW, I've heard of people picking up Moto's for $3000?? Where?

Check out cannondaler and cannondaleriders web sites. There are always some good deals from reputable guys on the forums. Personally at current prices a blaze or moto would be the best deal for what you get.

You probably will not be sorry if you get a 'dale. We where a dealer for them and they are a very awsome quad. I had a speed out once and you could hit whoop sections as fast (or faster) as you dared go and it still wanted more. I am talking atleast 100 yards and a good running start and hitting top gear. the suspension was smooth as a babies bottom! THe only problem I had was getting it into the truck going up hill and up ramps... Modern 4 strokes that think they are missing 2 are never a bad choice! They can be tempermental like a 2 stroke though. That may be the best thing about them!
