ok, new idea...still in process of finding a trader fro a kfx700 or cannondale, but i found a really nice new 2003 cannondale speed 440. now with this model and year are all the little problems ticks worked out and taken care of already? and what is to look ut for with this model and year ?

 

Only if the present owner did the updates.Motor mount,battery tray,switching coolant(valve cover corrosion),possible z400 bearing upgrade,stage 8 or re-loctite all crank and tranny cartridge bolts.That's all i can think of right now.

 

or you can do the update you self if you have a metal working skills

I had an 02 Speed and it was a nice machine, but I never got to ride it. It never ran lol! However i bought it like that for $800 (non-running) then sold it to some guy on eBay. I think I still have a pic or two of it in my profile.
