what cannondale would be the best match up to keep up with the 450r.

A Cannibal which is the low end Dale would probably edge out A 450R. Both machines are pretty corked up. The 450r has better front shocks, but the rear doesn't hold a candle so there are trade offs to each machine in respective areas.. The Dale would probably win in an mx race. It sits lower and handles better.. 450r frames break, C-Dale motors break and the Dales have more problems in general then a 450r..

 

I think a 450r would be a good match for a stock cannibal with the base round canister exhaust. We were checking out some dyno sheets last week and there was a 450r in the list at 42hp . It had a ported head ,carb ,cams,exhaust. Thats about equal to a stock dale engine with the airbox mod and aftermarket pipe. Ill see if I can dig up the sheets for greater detail.

 

Uhm I personallly dragged a 450r with HRC kit with a bone stock Dale stock toaster,stock map,stock gearing,stocktires and consistently beat the guy even when he started in front a little.But yes the front suspension is a nicer ride on 450R.

 

38-42 is right for a cam, and piped 450R. Add a ported head and 13.5 piston to that you're 44-46 hp 32#'s torque. Unfortunatly I never have been able to dyno my dale or any other on the same dyno to compare those #'s with.

 

I think all the dales could run a 450R, its a SOHC

 

o ok because its JUST an sohc we can all rule out that it can possibly be faster[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif[/img] 450r frames break? thats why farr dosent even have gussets on his right...

 

450r dont stand a chance, i just dont like the SOHC setup, what can i say?

 

Honda designed them to be slower for a reason. If they just threw the crf motor in them they would be blowing chunks even faster than they are now.
