This quad is seriously underestimated, i think it will blow away a yfz450, will it?

Stock Dales had between 33 and 40 horse depending on mapping and exhaust. The yfz is very close to that. Ibelieve they are around 36 stock. With a few mods can easily match and better even the moto. Thats just talking power though. Suspension is a similar ball game. You can get basic standard travel models or long travel premium stuff on the moto which not much else comes close stock.

 

i mean THE top of the line cannondale with all the stuff u can buy from the dealer topped out, vs. the top of the line yfz450

 

Are you talking about an aftermarket top of the line YFZ??? If not the Moto would win. It is better still to this day and it came out in 02. Yes it costs more, alot more. Cannondale didn't care when they were seeing 20k 250r's and they were getting beat by the Moto's... Apples to apples it comes down to the rider on two race ready quads built w/ the unlimited budget.. A 450 ATKannondale running 13.8-1 is as fast as any other top 450cc high compression motor from a factory.. ATK doesn't and never will pay out cash to riders and thats why you won't see any top racers on them. ATK also doesn't show any dealers how to work on them so nobody wants them.. Race quads break and if you don't know how to repair them correctly why would a race team want one..
