I hear everyone on hear tlakin about the problems cannondales have fromt he factory i would like to know if anyone knew all of the problems that go wrong and how to fix them so nothing happens ??.. thanks and after those problems are fixed should a cannondale be a reliable bike to have for a long time??... let me know thanks...

 

Stud update, oil line hose update, fresh crank, Z400 crank bearings, aluminum valve cover, aluminum radiator pump, fresh piston. There are more Im sure, but this is a good start. They will be just as reliable as any other RACE 450 on the market. Lots of PM. Oil, filters and such. Im getting ready to tear into my motor in a month or two. !st time it has been opened since 2002 when I bought it and put a 450 piston in it. Thats it. 300 HARD hours on it. No trail rides, just a few tuning runs and a whole lot of MX time. If any of the C-Daleriders want to chime in, now would be the time. Cannondaleriders.com would be a good site for info.

 

Im thinking of Sending my whole quad, the whole thing to ATK for new plastic, 450 piston, neutral kit a tune up and some fine tuning.
