Taking the front plastic off isn't hard at all. It doesn't have those annoying bolts that are way up under the fenders and almost impossible to reach. After I shaved my fenders, I only have to take off 4 bolts and pull the plastic off, and all the bolts are right on top of the plastics (so no having to hunt for that bolt thats holding your plastics on). Changing the oil takes a little longer but it is no hard at all. The fuel filter doesn't take but maybe a minute or two to change, just make sure you fillup on gas after you change it. The gas sort of leaked out one time when I had to look for my other fuel filter and I forgot to refill... the race the next day sucked .

Every 5 hours would be a pain. In some cases that can be every ride. For a 440cc this bike rocks. I recall that the mags. putting a pipe on the Raptor to compete with last year's FX400 in a shootout. I'm a power hungry type guy & the 440 Speed has caught my eye. That price of $7999.00 is pretty steep....

the break-in is a little intense but after that its no different than any other quad except
changing a fouled plug which is quite a chore
(my wifes polaris scrambler is a much larger pain in the rear than my "C"
