I rode the new 440 moto the other day and raced it against my stock 500 quadracer and I have fell in love with it. (the 440 beat my 500 in a sand drag) Since the moto is a little bit out of my price range I am leaning towards the cannibal or the speed. What shocks does the cannibal have and is it worth the money to go with the speed. Well I can't wait to have my own. Thanks for the help.

most cannibals still have the ohlins, but if your getting one, just go to the dealer and see what they have! Hope you get one, they are SWEEET!!!

Trout, I called Horizon Motorsports today and said they would sell me a Speed for $7500 otd. I'm going to wait and see what my local dealer can do on price first, becuase that's a 500 mi. plus drive for me. They hired a mechanic that just graduated from MMI and he remapped and piped a Speed and said that it rips. Do you know if you can remap the Cannibal's FI to be the same as the Speed?

I still might get the Suzuki but I'm undecided at the moment.

I have been going through a dealer in Waynoka, OK at Little Sahara and they are listing there speed with dirt tire and sand tires front and rear on aluminum for $7995 and a Cannibal with the same package for $6995. What you guys think of that.

JeremyKS, that's an OK deal. The problem we have is that we are limited by the number of C'dale dealers we currently have, and those dealers know that. When you figure you can get front sand tires with wheels from rocky mountain atv for $119 and rear paddles with rims for $145, he's not really giving you that good of a deal. What rear paddle tires is he giving you, Haulers or Sand Sharks or what? Also, what rims, .125's or .190's? He must have just became a dealer because when I was out there last month, he was not selling any C'dales. I'd keep working on him!!

I am not sure what paddles they were but they were the .190 rims I know that. I am sure I could get a beter deal but that is just what he told me that they were asking for them. Do you think that the speed is worth the 1000 more over the cannibal. I will be doing mostly dune riding a little mx. You going to Easter or Snake hunt weekend. Where did you get your dale

I'm heading to LS first thing tomorrow in fact, was going to camp but ended up getting a hotel in Waynoka. I got mine from Honda of Tulsa, I bought an FX400 last year and had some problems and Cannondale swapped it out for a Cannibal, they would have swapped it for a Speed but they weren't out yet. Most people will tell you the Speed is not worth the 1K difference in price, especially if the Cannibal has the Ohlin shocks and EC1000 computer. The only thing the Speed has over the Cannibal is the hydraulic clutch, 1K more rpm and a better quality seat cover. If you come out to LS this week, look me up. My transportation is a gray Toyota Tundra hauling my Cannibal and an '86 250R.

you can get the mapping codes from a blaze moto or speed and put them in your cannibal along with an aftermarket and it will run as good as or even better than any of the more costly 3

So is the speed going to be faster than the cannibal. If this is true how much difference are you going to notice. How much knowledge of the computer is it going to take to re map it to get the performance of the moto. What is the difference as far as engine performance between the 4 models. Thanks for all the help. Every little bit will help with my choice of which one to get. Thanks JeremyKS
