How often are you guys having to adjust the valves for normal recreational trail riding?

Looking at getting a new quad and right now looking at the speed, but I dont have time to be dropping the motor every 25 hours for valves. That would be almost weekly for me during the riding season.

I don't know of anyone that has needed to adjust the valves yet. Ask some of the guys that have owned their quad the longest (like ryanstones) and he could give you some more info. I don't thing he has needed to adjust the valves yet.. Have you ryan? and he has put quite a few hours on it from what I remember him saying. I have had more than 25 hours on mine and I haven't needed the valves adjusted either.

I asked this question when I thought I was getting a Cannibal. Everyone who replied said that they hadn't adjustred the vlaves yet, and some of the guys had 75-100 hours on their quads. I think I would just adjust them after the first 25 hours then about once a month.

I think I'm around 140 hours now without valve adjustment, for better or worse. I'm not sure you could hear a valve ticking anyway! The quad is running great, but I plan to have them adjusted in June at R/S.
will be interesting to see how far out of spec they are by then.
