Corndog, You should be happy that these improvements are compatible with your 2001. You really annoy some people by defending the dale like you work for them in every other forum now you are bashing it. It sounds to me you are a fairweather rider. Whatever is the best you are on it. Are manufactures not supposed to be able to upgrade without everyone wanting something for free. You yourself have already said that they have great customer service since you claim to have a broken frame(without pics) and dale is sending you a piece for free. Now it seems that you want to take advantage of their great customer service so you can get something for free. Its people like you who will screw this sport for everyone!

What's this about a hydraulic clutch. I don't think you can add the hydraulic clutch. If someone knows differently please let me know as I want one!!

 

On my speed the case has been machined and the whole slave cylinder is inside. I'm not sure you could put on on a Canibal.

Where do you draw the line there buddy? What if the first 301 cannibals got it? Would you be so mad then? Should I be mad because my old CR doesn't have any of the new technology that today's have? Of course not! When you bought it you bought what they were selling at the time. However durring that model year run they improved on the machine a little bit. At the time you wrote the check and cannondale delivered exactly what they said they would. You knew what you were buying so don't try and play the victim. Boy I wish I would have waited a few more years so then I could have bought a 2002 CR125 because I'm gonna lose my butt if I have to pay to upgrade from an '83 to an '02. Maybe Honda should pay for it! Get real!

some of you are missing the whole point. i really can't believe you are that stupid to say that. my point is they are making major changes during THE SAME YEAR!!!!!! ONLY SAME YEAR MODELS!!!!!!! i don't care if the 2003 models have many updates, they should!!!! However, a later 2002 cannibal should not be much better than my early 2002, they should be almost identical!
