Joke of the Day II

Good one Zoinks!! Hey, did you know there is a "new" riding area about 12 miles south of Bloomington? I just read about it in DirtWheels, I think it was. It's named something like Lawrence County Recreation Area, something close like that anyway. Sounds great. Do you ride at Attica much?

Yeah I have been riding at LCRP since it opened at it is a pretty cool place but it still needs development done. I have never been to Attica, right when I planned a trip I had two quads stolen so I have lost a little desire.

I think the mag did more justice than it deserves. It is a nice park but $15 for one day is just crazy for 450 acres. You can ride everything there easily in one day. They are supposed to have a motocross track built but they still havent done that. They do have a mini-moto there for kids which my son really liked. In the mag it said that there are tough hillclimbs, Bull*&^%! There might be a couple but the steep ones are only 25 to 30 ft. Trails are really tight, they just need more travel on it otherwise you will be briefly lost. They do mark the trails but some have fallen off the trees. I would give it a 6-7 out of 10.

Your prob. right about the mag giving more than deserves from what you've told me. I'll have to come down and check it out. Badlands has some hills I don't even like to look at. I flipped mine right on top of me on a really steep long hill. I've been pretty hill shy since then. My quad is not very light. Sounds like there are not too many people that ride out there then. I do like that much better. There are days at Attica where it's tough to find a place to park.
