This reverse rev limiter is a real bummer on the 2002 raptor.Does anyone no where the limiter is and if i could order one from a 2001 raptor. If i remember correctly my 2001 didnt have a rev limiter on reverse or maybe i just didnt notice it as much because of the high gear in reverse. What a joke yamaha is.They fix the high gear problem in reverse but they put a rev limiter on it so you cant even use reverse corectly. What a JOKE!!!!!

DO NOT PUT A 01 cdi box on your 02,my buddy tried this and fried the cdi as soon as he turned the key on.they will not interchange.he put a toggel switch in line on the wire going to the rev. switch to dissabel it,as soon as we can get a wirirng diagram im going to look it over to see if the wire from the switch goes to the rev light and cdi,or if it just feeds the cdi and the cdi turns the light on.im guessing the wire from the switch splits of to two wires, one for the light and one for the cdi,if that the case you could disconnect it at the cdi plug in and still have your light.
